  • What is Ghirardelli chocolate?

    Answer: Ghirardelli chocolate is our signature chocolate. We use it for all of our chocolate fountains. Ghirardelli is the oldest continually operated chocolate factory in America. It was established in 1852 (that's before the Civil War) in San Francisco and has been making this same premium, flavor-rich chocolate ever since. Ghirardelli is one of the most famous names in the world of chocolate and in chocolate fountain circles. We proudly serve their semisweet, or white chocolate in all our chocolate fountains. It's guaranteed to please the palate of even the most discriminating chocolate lover at your party !

  • How much chocolate will you use for my chocolate fountain?

    Answer: Our chocolate fountain pricing includes 2 gallons of semi-sweet chocolate. That is the amount necessary to operate a professional chocolate fountain. Most all chocolate fountains have the same size bowl. All professional chocolate fountains hold 2 gallons of chocolate. This size chocolate fountain will easily serve 200-250 guests. Additional chocolate may be purchased to accommodate larger events. We simply pour more chocolate into the chocolate fountain and watch your guests as their eyes light up!

  • How many people will the chocolate fountain serve?

    Answer: Because more chocolate can be added to the chocolate fountain during the event, the chocolate fountain will serve an unlimited number of guests. For very large events (400 or more guests), we recommend renting two chocolate fountains to keep the lines for this popular attraction shorter.

  • Do you rent chocolate fountains without attendants?

    Answer: No. An unattended chocolate fountain turns into a very unattractive mess after about 10 minutes. Our chocolate fountain attendant keeps the chocolate fountain tidy the entire event and assist your guests with a smile and a neat chocolate fountain. We bring extra velvet to cover the drips and keep the chocolate fountain attractive all night long.

  • Do I have to set up, tear down & clean up the chocolate fountain?

    Answer: We do EVERYTHING! We will bring the chocolate fountain 30-60 minutes prior to the designated starting time. The chocolate fountain will then be carefully set up, so your guests will smell Ghirardelli chocolate as soon as they arrive. We dismantle the chocolate fountain at the contracted ending time. Your job: ENJOY THE CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN !

  • How long can I have the chocolate fountain at my event?

    Answer: Our regular chocolate fountain package includes use of the chocolate fountain for up to 2 hours. This does not include set up and tear down of the chocolate fountain, which is done on our time. If you need the chocolate fountain for more than 2 hours, the additional cost is $50 per additional hour.

  • What are the table & electrical requirements for the chocolate fountain?

    Answer: Since the chocolate fountain weighs approximately 100 pounds when full, a level, sturdy table is a must. If it is not level, the chocolate will not flow properly. The chocolate fountain must have access to an electrical outlet.

  • What dipping items can be used with the chocolate fountain?

    Answer: Use your imagination...because nearly anything can be dipped into a chocolate fountain! We have seen it all! The only dippers the chocolate fountain doesn't like are items that crumble easily such as pound cake and angel food cake. which will interfere with the smooth flow of the chocolate. We recommend strawberries, marshmallows, bananas, rice krispy treats, cream puffs, cookies, and pretzel rods.

  • Who provides the dipping items for the chocolate fountain?

    Answer: We'd be more than happy to provide the dipping items for you at an additional cost. You also have the option of providing the dipping items yourself.

  • Do you provide the decorations around the chocolate fountain?

    Answer: The chocolate fountain itself is the real eye-candy. The cascading chocolate, the colorful fruit and dippers are beautiful in our glass serving pieces. We surround the fountain with a gorgeous velvet table topper. We will help you coordinate the chocolate fountain table with the entire event theme. You are welcome to provide additional decorations which we will place around the chocolate fountain such as rose petals or votives.

  • Can the chocolate fountain be used outdoors?

    Answer: No. We provide chocolate fountain service for indoor events only.

  • Do you require reservations & a deposit to reserve the chocolate fountain?

    Answer: Yes, we require a reservation, a signed contract and a $150.00 deposit at the time of the chocolate fountain booking. Reservations are limited and are on a first come-first served basis. The balance of your payment is due 2 weeks prior to the date your chocolate fountain will be used.

  • Do you accept credit card payments for chocolate fountain rentals and deposits?

    Answer: Yes. We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express as payment for our chocolate fountain services. We also accept checks.

  • How much does it cost to rent the chocolate fountain?

    Answer: You might be surprised at how affordable it is to include a Chocolate Fountain at your next event.
